The pelvic-leg arteries are responsible for supplying freshly oxygenated blood to the organs of the small pelvis (uterus, prostate, genital organs) and the muscles of the legs and feet. Common diseases of the pelvic-leg arteries are occlusions peripheral arterial occlusive disease pAVK) due to diabetes mellitus, nicotine abuse and after injuries.
