Service Features of the Radiology Center
The Radiology Center (formerly Radiology Office) has been an independent business partner of Wiener Privatklinik for many decades. All medical services are performed by specialists in radiology and nuclear medicine on their own authority and their own account.
The invoicing of nuclear medical and radiological services provided for in-patients is carried out according to the arrangement of direct accounting by Wiener Privatklinik, Goldenes Kreuz, etc. with the individual health insurances in accordance with the medical fee arrangement for PKA Vienna (the services will be covered by a flat rate) or directly with patients when they pay privately.
The Radiology Center is a modern service institute offering top quality to its patients.
Our services include the following examinations:
- Computed tomography (CT)
- Magnetic resoncance imaging (MRI)
- Functional scintigraphy with/without SPECT or SPECT/CT
- Positron emission tomography (PET)
Our Opening Hours:
|Monday – Tuesday:||9am – 5pm|
|Friday:||9am – 3pm|
Outside these working hours, there is an on-call duty for life-threatening emergencies for in-patients. If examinations have to be carried out before therapies planned for hospital treatment, then these examinations should be scheduled in advance, e.g. when registering for clinical treatment. The final appoinment depends on the daily surgery schedule of Wiener Privatklinik. Patients who need imaging examinations prior to a planned therapy and have been registered, will have priority. Examinations which were not registered ahead of time, will be accomodated if possible.
Generally, out-patients will get appointments on short notice to reduce the times before and after the examination (up to the imaging).
To enable timely examinations, we recommend that patients schedule appointments in advance.
Generally, appointments are possible within 48 hours.
